Academic Secretary - Functions and Responsibilities

  • Leads the preparation of proposals for long-term and annual research planning
  • Monitors the implementation of research plans and prepares consolidated reports
  • Coordinates the development of plans and procedures to improve the Institute’s performance in research, labor organization, and management
  • Prepares plans for Scientific Council activities and controls their implementation
  • Develops publication plans and monitors their implementation
  • Coordinates the organization of conferences, workshops, seminars, and discussions
  • Administers the activities of the MPI library, museum, archive, press, and international relations
  • Develops the personnel rating criteria and manages the qualification process
  • Prepares proposals for continuing education courses and exchange programs
