- 2010-2014 – Field studies as part of the collaborative project with the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature, Kyoto, Japan “Effects of Climate Change on Recharge, Regime and Discharge of Suprapermafrost and Intrapermafrost Water in Central Yakutia”
- 2010-2012 – Snow surveys between Yakutsk and Oymyakon (1050 km transect)
- 2009-present – Field studies at a monitoring site on the Bestyakh Terrace of the Lena River (chemistry of perennial springs, ground temperature regime, formation of groundwater icings, role of lakes for intrapermafrost aquifers)
- 2008 – Permafrost and thermal investigations along the Tommot-Nizhny Bestyakh railroad route
