Public Defense of Dissertations at MPI

A public defense of three PhD dissertations approved for the defense by Dissertation Council D 003.0250 will take place at MPI on 21 and 22 April 2015. The defense is scheduled as follows:

April 21, 09:00 am - Anna Kut, MPI, “Eolian Periglacial Landforms (Tukulans) in Central Yakutia: Structure, Origin, Age, and Distribution” (Dissertation Abstract)

April 21, 02:00 pm - Lyudmila Vasyutich, Transbaikal State University, “Effect of Urbanization on the Structure and Properties of the Geocryological Environment in Central Trans-Baikal: A Case Study of the City of Chita” (Dissertation Abstract).

April 22, 09:00 am - Andrey Melnikov, Neryungri Technical Institute, Northeastern Federal University, “Effect of Frost Weathering on Railroad Embankment Failures: A Case Study of the Tommot to Kerdem Section of the Amur-Yakutsk Railroad” (Dissertation Abstract).
